On this lovely Friday in early fall during a lull in my public duties, I had hoped to get some grading done. Instead, I

–read and answered e-mail;

–found out that the deadline for LUC posting was noon instead of 4:30;

–spent an hour and a half revising the LUC powerpoint;

–read several electronic digests from the Chronicle and the Times;

–discovered a website/wordgame about NSA electronic surveillance which might be useful for teaching about online searching: http://nsa.motherboard.tv/

–joined in the lunchtime ordering of Chinese food;

–read the new print issue of the Chronicle;

–listed the Jardin des Amis on the ACGA’s Local Harvest site;

–learned how to use the InFocus technology for projection;

–and decided to write this list as a way to get past it and into the grading.
